Marie Sunna was born in Evernes in Norway. She came to Abisko 1937, got married to Johan. Mother enjoyed very much to be out in the nature. They built a house in Abisko, just above the railway, with a beautiful view of Lapporten and Torneträsk. They got 4 children: Märta, Börje, Karin and Stig. Maria and Johan is burried at Poikkijärvi cemetery
